interested in the politics of technology, but for people interested in left or liberal politics more generally.
I¹m not sure if Benkler¹s arguments are so deeply ³liberal.² The language used may appear that way but the suggestions are, as far as I could see from his book launch, more addressed to corporate CEOs. Here is a brief review of Benkler¹s presentation: <http://collectivate.net/journalisms/2006/4/14/yochai-benklers-the- wealth-of-networks.html> Trebor
Henry Farrell writes: "Yale University Press has just released Yochai Benkler¹s The Wealth of Networks: How Social Production Transforms Markets and Freedom. You can buy it at Powells, and Amazon, but it¹s also available from Benkler under Creative Commons with an associated wiki.[1] There¹ll be more about this book on CT soon for the moment, suffice to say that I think that this is a really important book, not only for people interested in the politics of technology, but for people interested in left or liberal politics more generally. It fizzes with ideas."
