Hi Graham!
I'm sending this `Cc:' to Thomas-Uwe Grüttmüller, since he did some
translations already.

Dear numerous subscribers ;-) ,
under

you find a translation project which tries to translate the text
Gnu/Linux - Meilenstein auf dem Weg in die GPL-Gesellschaft
into English. If you speak a bit of German you might consider to
translate one or another paragraph.
As just one of the numerous subscribers I'm afraid not - I can
get a vague idea of parts of the meaning, but not enough to translate
:-(
As you may know translations are best when done into one's mother
tongue - which seems not to be possible now :-( .
However, you as a seemingly native English speaker can do a *great*
job by proof reading translations made by Germans.
If I could read/write more I would be among the even more numerous
participants in the German list, instead of hiding away in this
english-speaking corner ... Do you expect more people to subscribe
to this?
Sooner or later I'd hope so. Unfortunately at the moment I have no
time to spread the word in the English speaking / international world
:-( .
But may be when we have a bit of text translated, people come by
themselves. After all the `www.oekonux.de' is well-known in search
machines and there is a link to the English page.
Mit li(e)bertären Grüßen
Stefan
