The horrifying part was when I realised that Jonathan Walther

development team "in good standing" so to speak.
I'm on two lists (none pertaining to debian) where Jonathan also is
subscribed to---on neither he ever wrote anything related to this. This
shows me he's decent and smart enough to not mix technical and political
subjects.
He's been blinded by flawed views, right. And here I agree with Niall's,
the best thing to do is to attempt clarifying how wrong his view
actually is, or better "their" views. One possibility would be to set up
a corresponding website with links to articles which bother the wrong
information of the articles (linked to on djw's secred page). Bothering
in the sense of showing how absurd and wrong they are, however all that
in a *scientific* manner.
That's a long and laborious job, but it's imho much better than
strenuously and passionally discrimating people (which you, Paul, may
not intend, but that's the impression I get when reading your mails).
Really calm a bit down. Yes, it's a tough and important issue but
passion isn't the right incentive.
PS: In German we have abandoned the term Nazi, because a Nazi is
someone who sticks to the nationalsocialist ideology but as well
who is or was in the NSDAP. As this party doesn't exist anymore,
there can't be any Nazis. Thus we created the term Neo-Nazi
to describe someone who sticks to the ideology.
(at least that's the logic I see behind that transition, the Germans
on the list may correct if I'm wrong. :-))
I think that's a good transition and non-Germans should maybe make
use of the new term instead of the old one, too. Even though their
usage of Nazi is, certainly, differently annotated than in German if
only because of history.
