Typical slashdot non-news.  My understanding is that the GFDL is currently
only regarded as free software in a limited number of cases.  That is
equally true of the FSF's own Free Software Definition.  They do not think
that manuals should be subject to the same requirements as software.
The only new development is another attempt by Debian developers to
resolve this problem.
