Good thing the GPL was not written to maximize either business or
engineering quality. For the latter, and perhaps for the former as
well, it's success in these areas has been a pleasant but unintended
consequence.

Of course, economists have been saying these ad nauseum for ages but
the GPL cult does not want to hear. They need to believe that the
GPL will save the world and anything not confirming that doesn't
exist.

Please see my last messages to Martin Hardie. We're not going to come
to 100% consensus on everything but please try not to condemn those
who disagree with you on a particular issue as uncritical cultists and
zealots. It's insulting and makes for unproductive conversations.
