* A gift is based on a personal relationship

  May exist before and/or after a gift

  * For most people Free Software is anonymous as a product can be

* A gift often creates an obligation

  * Using Free Software creates no obligations

* Producers of Free Software do not think in terms of gift

  If at all then as a gift to mankind

   Calling Free Software a gift is wrong
