I found this group and joined yesterday as a result of a Google search,
after reading a piece in the September issue of Wired. I've just posted a
link to and commentary on the article on our site:

I'm just going to leave the introduction at this; you can get some idea of
where I am at least right now from the site. Although I've personally used
Linux and OSS for several years, the WWLG site has only been up since
June, so I'm a relative newbie to all this; but my eyes have really been
opened since June!
I haven't even read all the documents on the Oekonux site yet, but intend
to do that as soon as possible so I understand more of what's going on in
this group. I can say that a lot (but not all!) of what I've read so far
resonates with me personally, and that in general I am motivated about
what is happening.
I would also appreciate any comments or even article submissions. This can
give the subjects aired here another audience which currently hasn't been
reached, if anyone is so inclined. Submissions in other languages are
encouraged, as you can see from the site. Thanks for your time.
